About The Course

Deer Creek Golf Club is an outstanding golf course that fits any level of golfing ability. Our golf course is always in great shape with many risk/reward holes which makes for an exciting round of golf that will make golfers use every club in their bag. We offer 4 sets of tees to suit all playing abilities. We are just 10 minutes from the new Indianapolis airport, just off of Interstate 70 making Deer Creek an easy-to-find great golf course.

Renovations to the clubhouse will enhance the experience at Deer Creek for both members and guests. A remodel of the pro shop, foyer, bathroom,  and banquet facility, including adding a bar and lounge. Practice Facilities offer visitors the chance to warm up or practice the game. A full grass driving range, with turf mats for rainy days, a chipping area and a putting green give you everything you need to set yourself up for success on the course.

Dress Code

Dress on the golf course must be in good taste. Proper golf attire is required for all persons, including members, guests, and juniors. Members are responsible for ensuring their family members and guest(s) are aware of the club’s policy. Dress code will be monitored moving forward and all guests of members are asked to follow the Club’s dress code policy when visiting.

I am a 2001 graduate from Tri State University in Angola, IN where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Golf Management. After graduation I worked at Fremont CC in Fremont Ohio and Sylvania CC in Sylvania Ohio, studying under Jim McGurk, a Jim Mclean School instructor. Then I moved to Fort Wayne, IN at Orchard Ridge Country Club where I assisted in the development of the junior golf program, with parents as coaches. I enjoy teaching the game of golf to all ability levels and I know we can customize a program to fit your needs.

Teaching Philosophy

I teach students the game of golf in a fun, energetic environment while incorporating fundamentals all players need to maximize their potential. I apply my students in many different situations, helping them to grasp all the concepts of this great game in an easy-to-understand, low-pressure environment.

Total Game Improvement

The ultimate experience for those dedicated to improving their golf games. We will work together to develop a strategy to reach your golfing goals through personal interviews and game evaluations. Once goals are set, we will set bi-weekly lessons focusing on those specific goals through all types of lessons.

Our overall goal is to develop a well-rounded golfer in all aspects of the game, woods, irons, short game, and course management.

I am here to help at all times; lessons can be as long, or as short as schedules dictate. This is a great program to transform your golfing abilities.

Leagues & Events

The 2024 season at Deer Creek will mark a new era of events at Deer Creek. Men’s & Women’s Member events and Club Social Events open to the public will be coming soon. Events will include Member Guest, Men’s & Women’s Leagues, Couple’s Nights, Demo Days, Club Championships, and Social events.
